Eight people including children died and 12 were injured in a train collision with a minibus in Ismailia, Egypt. The crash occurred at an unmarked crossing, and emergency services responded rapidly.

As a result of a collision, eight people, including children, died in a passenger train with a mini-bus on an unofficial crossing in the city of Bir al-Abed in the Ismailia governorate, Egypt. Twelve others were injured. The Egyptian Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghafar offers rapid and medical assistance to the victims. The Ministry of Health directed 13 ambulance vehicles to the scene of the accident, as reported by the online portal "Al-Ahram".

The injured were taken to the Central Hospital in Bir al-Abed. The Egyptian road management specified that the train was moving on its own route when the collision occurred, at that time the bus crossed the railway line at an unauthorized place.

Egyptian media reported that one of the children is in critical condition.
